What is an Avatar?

Many of you may have stumbled across Jeboavatars.com or Jebochat.com while browsing the internet, but may not yet know what exactly an avatar is.  So let me explain!

At it's core, an Avatar is basically a digital representation of you!  If you were to play a videogame online, your character in that game would be considered your avatar.

In the world of online forums, your avatar is generally a picture that goes next to your name.  The picture can be anything you want, and anything that you feel represents you.

Some people choose their favorite band, others choose their favorite movie, others use a real life picture of themselves, the options are limitless!

Similar to Avatars is the "Buddy Icon", which is basically the same principal as an avatar but of a smaller size.  These are meant to be used with your favorite chat program, whether it is AOL Instant Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messenger, ICQ, MSN or any other program of your choice.  Jeboavatars.com also offers some buddy icons, and in the future we will open up a site dedicated solely to buddy icons

Jeboavatars.com exists to offer people a great resources to find avatars that will allow them to show their spirit to the entire internet.

Cool.  This is what TB was like when it first started.  No wonder so many members dropped out early.  But i have faith in you nuke.

Yeah, the only problem is im gonna be moderating this one so I can keep advertisements up.

We will see what happens, at the very least its giving me a nice user registration system to use for the avatar site and whatnot.

I tried downloading Paintshop pro.  But it didn't work.   I don't think i will ever get to be a avatarian.

You must harness the powers of God.  Or just find a pic you like and tone it down a lil.  But check out my Avatar it is cool.
